# TrackParcel

> Independent parcel tracking for India and registered international services. Free to use, no account required. TrackParcel is not a courier and cannot change delivery instructions or carrier scans.

Enter the carrier-issued tracking number from a receipt or dispatch message. Format-based detection suggests candidates; overlapping formats do not prove carrier identity. Select the carrier named by the sender when known. Results show the latest available carrier data, which may be cached, not live GPS. Availability, event detail and delivery estimates depend on the carrier.

## Privacy and caching

Tracking numbers are sent to TrackParcel and the selected carrier for the lookup. Private result caching uses status-dependent freshness windows, normally from 5 minutes for out-for-delivery results to 30 days for delivered results. An additional 24-hour stale-result retention window supports fallback during carrier outages; freshness is not the same as total retention. Operational carrier-health logs store tracking numbers encrypted at rest and keep them permanently, as part of the permanent tracking record, not solely as irreversible digests. Security events keep an IP address for up to 365 days and never a tracking number. Google Analytics sets its first-party _ga cookies (about 2 years) and AdSense may use Google's advertising cookies to personalise ads; there is no consent prompt, and the privacy policy lists the opt-outs. No account-linked permanent tracking history is provided.
